"Your horses will love it here. You will too!"

Christy

When Christy graduated from; high school, she began building her herd for her training and lesson programs.

Christy always believed that no matter who you are or what level you show or; train within, you can always learn something from others. So she began seeking; out further information and instruction. One of the first persons she sought; training from was Ray Hunt. With Ray she started various colts with his methods; and guidance. From there she began participating in numerous clinics and; training sessions with such instructors and mentors as Martha Josey, Richard Shrake, Buster McLaurey, Connie Combs, Curt Pate, Bryan Nuebert, Clinton Anderson, Craig Cameron, Sharon Camarillo and Vaughn Knudsen to name a “few”.

Christy feels fortunate to have had worked with such great people and great horses.

Christy feels fortunate to have clients stand by her. Many clients have been with her for years. She has a excellent realtionship built between
each client and there has always been trust, honesty, and friendship that lasts a lifetime. Each clients horse that is brought in is truly
given special attention and tends to fall in love with their training. Christy really loves each horse and it shows.
Christy has worked with various breeds including Quarter horses, Thoroughbreds, Arabians, drafts, Fresiens, Welsh, POA, Appaloosas, Paints, Mixes and more. She has
been able to compete at open, local, breed, world and national shows. She has blued in many shows over the years. Christy has been an NBHA World Show Qualifier over 9 times
now - and not just on her own horses, but also on her client's horses! Her great paint horse Speck even earned his ROM in barrels. Her famous barrel horse Mac basically bought her
her ranch.

Christy enjoys the challenge of trying to reach the heart of the horse and teaching them to excel in their respective areas.

Christy’s basic philosophy with regards to the horse has not changed over the years.

She truly believes that with understanding, knowledge, training, experience, discipline and hard work; a true connection, softness, and
eloquence can be obtained with the horse and rider. She is always hungry for more knowledge and even more ready to lend a hand and help someone else succeed with their
horse. She believes the possibilities are endless!
